Ele studied Fine Art majoring in Metals & Jewellery in Melbourne inspiring her to challenge traditional notions of jewellery design and fabrication by pushing boundaries of concept and form. The sculptural pieces are thought about meticulously in their entirety during the design process. She embraces new technologies such as integrating CAD design and 3D printing, as well as hand crafting to create pieces that unique and at the forefront of design.
Ele recently went to New York to complete certificates of Diamond, Coloured Gem and Pearl Grading at the Gemmological Institute of America, furthering her knowledge and passion for precious gems.
Ele has lived and travelled all of the world in both big city urban environments and the countryside. She attributes this dichotomy to the many themes she explores conceptually through the geometric juxtaposed with organic structures of the pieces and gems.
The studio/showroom is located in the iconic, heritage listed, jewellery trade building in Melbourne- Manchester Unity.
She also creates luxury custom wedding/engagement and sources rare gems by appointment. All materials are sourced locally within the Melbourne/Australian trade. Every piece is made with love in the Misko studios.
